This weekend was the first weekend in a while where I pretty much did nothing. I planned nothing and it was amazing. My body feels rested for a change. I hate having busy weekends because Monday comes around and you feel as if you have had no break at all.
I must say this January has been the longest month ever. Janu-worry is in full force and I can not wait for pay day. I seriously need to learn to chill when it comes to Christmas presents. I decided that knitty gritty gifts are so lame and opted to buy S and I a trip to Cape Town. It made me poor but I am so stoked for the trip that being poor is worth it. We are going in mid March and it just couldn’t come sooner. Cape Town is such an incredible city. We are both so excited for the wine farms. The last time we were there, we both got super sick and had to skip the Wine tasting. I really want to spend 2017 exploring South Africa. I live in such a beautiful country and I have barely explored it. S and I plan to vlog quite a bit when going on small adventures, the vlog will be up on either my or his YouTube channel, so remember to subscribe to keep up to date.
On Sunday we went through to Monte Casino. I love going there because it feels like you have stepped out of Johannesburg for a bit. Emilio’s Gourmet Popcorn, side note – hands down best popcorn I have had, was holding a Charity fundraiser. He had made the World’s Biggest Popcorn Donut, to have a slice all you had to do was bring through a pencil case with some stationery it in. I love it when stores do such great things to give back. This was my totally laid back look for the outing there.
