Gosh, I feel like 80% of my posts lately are all skin care related, but you guys have no idea how crazy I am about looking after ones skin. I just want everyone to have beautiful glowing skin. There are constantly new products and treatments hitting the market and I am a sucker for them. Anything that could potentially make my skin look better, I will try! Micro-needling has been around for a while, when I decided to go for the treatment I wasn’t 100% sure what the treatment actually entailed. I did a smidge of research before I had it done, enough to freak me out. I got my Micro-needling done at The Muse in Bedfordview.
A quick breakdown on micro needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, the procedure involves tiny needles that create hundreds of tiny punctures in your skin. This forces your skin to go into repair mode and therefore your body starts to produce elastin and collagen to fill these teeny tiny skin wounds. Elastin and collagen are responsible for your skin look plumpy and fabulous. So what are the supposed benefits of having your face basically tattooed – it helps improve skin texture, helps with fine lines and wrinkles, helps reduce pores and helps reduce acne scarring and stretch masks. Basically, it’s supposedly a miracle treatment. If you are interested to see whether this is true or false and what my results were, check out my video to find out.
