That's Totally Fetch

Hi Huns,

Two posts in one day! I’m on a roll today, but I assure you this will be the first and last time you receive two posts from me in one day. Monday’s are my fashion post days, and I have to stick to my schedule or it will throw me off. Lately, I have been regretting not taking the time out to travel. To explore. To see the world. I have reached a point in the year where I am totally exhausted. My body just doesn’t want to function anymore. I am physically, emotionally & spiritually drained of this year.  All I want is to be far far away, in total relaxation mode. S and I have spoken about travelling countless times but it just seems like we can never catch a break to sit down and plan something properly. We have a ridiculously long list of all the places we want to go but at this point I wouldn’t even know where to go first. A part of me is getting into panic mode, because I feel like I’m running out of time, even though I’m only 26. I feel like we forget to stop and enjoy the little things in life. We are all so busy trying to make a living, and get from point “a” to “b”, that we totally forget to slow down and gives ourselves sometime to just enough life. We only have this one life and sadly none of us can determine how long we have. So I feel that it’s really important to take a step back and just take a break.

Next year I am making it my mission to travel to at least two destinations on my bucket list. I need an escape from reality just for a little bit. We were at Monte Casino this past weekend and the wanderlust kicked in. For those that don’t know Monte Casino is a leisure and casino destination in Johannesburg, designed to look like a Tuscan Village. Tuscany is definitely on my top 10 places to go to. I can’t tell you how many times I have watched “Under the Tuscan Sun”. Right now Monte Casino is my only escape haha. Sunday was a total scorcher of a day, I felt like my skin was going to start melting. I decided to slip on a loose dress because there was no way I would survive in skin tight clothing. This adorable boho dress from Refinery was my top pick. I paired it with my Forever New scandals and a sling bag from Call it Spring. I felt super cute roaming the fake streets of Tuscany.

I’d love to hear from you about your best holiday? And any recommendations of cities that are a must see?

Wishing you a fabulous day.
